LedgerSnap AI is being developed as a web app for small businesses, contractors, restaurants, and independent operators. The goal is to make daily financial recordkeeping easier and reduce the time spent preparing month-end reports.
Planned MVP features
- Record income and expenses manually.
- Upload receipt and invoice photos and review extracted transaction details before saving.
- Organize transactions by date, category, vendor or customer, payment method, and notes.
- Track accounts receivable and accounts payable, including due dates and payment status.
- Review monthly income, expenses, net operating difference, unpaid amounts, and category totals.
- Export transaction details and monthly summaries to Excel.
Accuracy and privacy first
Scanned values will need user review before they are recorded. Customer financial documents must be stored with access controls and a defined retention policy. The initial product is an expense and financial reporting tool, not a substitute for a licensed accountant or tax professional.
Current availability
LedgerSnap AI is in development and is not available for purchase yet. Account security, receipt processing, secure storage, reporting calculations, Excel export, and subscription access must be implemented and tested before launch. Do not send receipts, invoices, bank statements, or other sensitive financial documents by email at this stage.
Planned pricing is $29 per month, subject to final product and subscription testing. No payment should be collected before the app is ready.
